            It is one famous scientific research institute of applied chemical industry in China, which specializes in research, application and exchange of production technology in chemical industry. Major research directions include: mining and processing of chemical minerals, inorganic salt production technology, organic synthesis technology, biochemical engineering industrialization technology, environmental protection engineering and technology, etc. The Research Institute has 46 intermediate and senior researchers, including 18 senior engineers, 13 engineers and 3 professors. It has inorganic chemical industry laboratory, organic chemical industry laboratory, new energy industrial technology laboratory, test center, pilot plant test base, information department, engineering department and other institutions, as well as very strong scientific and technological strength and capacity for scientific research and tackling the key research projects. 
            Over the years, Nanyang Pengmei Industrial Technology Research Institute aims to serve for the development of Chinese chemical industry, constantly strengthen scientific and technological foundation, intensify scientific research strength, rises abruptly based on its accumulated strength, emphasizes practice, and provides production enterprises with high quality technical service based on rigorous, honest and practical style and 100% process success rate.
            Inorganic chemical industry laboratory: It has 16 professional researchers who undertake mining and processing of chemical minerals, research and development, promotion, consultation and training of inorganic salt production technology, in particular boron compound, magnesium compound, nickel compound, zinc compound, manganese salt, molybdenum salt, fluoride salt, potassium salt production technology, and energy conservation technology. The researchers have successively published more than 30 theses in domestic related magazines, and attended the compilation of many Chinese boride academic treatises, having more than 40 proprietary technology and scientific research achievements and providing technical support for over 30 boride production enterprises in Shandong, Qinghai, Gansu, Henan, Xinjiang, Sichuan and Tibet. 
            In 2008, Nanyang Pengmei Industrial Technology Research Institute undertook Project of Comprehensive Utilization of 20,000t/year Industrial Boric Acid and Process Effluent in Xinjiang Kunpeng Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. and obtained the subsidy of “Project of Scientific and Technological Support to Xinjiang” of Science and Technology Bureau of Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
            In 2009, Nanyang Pengmei Industrial Technology Research Institute developed the technical service to the world, and undertook technical transformation of Xinjiang Autonomous Region of one company in Kazakhstan and technical support of 50,000t/year industrial boric acid and 30,000t/year high-purity super-fine flame-retardant magnesium hydroxide project.
            In July 2010, it carried out technical service business of 30,000t/year boric acid project in South America through drastic international competitive bidding.

            It has production technology of producing special boric acid of borosilicate technical glass with boron and magnesium mineral single-step method; nuclear grade boric acid production technology; electronic boric acid production technology; production technology of disposing Tibetan boron and magnesium mineral with atmospheric alkaline hydrolysis method and preparing industrial borax; technology of disposing Tibetan natural borax mineral with water dissolution method and preparing borax pentahydrate with single-step method; technology of disposing natural borax mineral with nitric acid method and preparing high quality boric acid by-product sodium nitrate; technology of disposing natural borax mineral with sulfuric acid method free of evaporation and preparing high quality boric acid by-product sodium sulfate; technology of preparing high-purity boron anhydride with dynamic chemical process; technology of preparing fast-thawing boron fertilizer (sodium octaborate tetrahydrate) with boric acid, carbonate method; fast-thawing modified boric acid production technology; technology of preparing medical food grade magnesium carbonate, high-purity magnesium oxide and high-purity extra fine flame-retardant magnesium hydroxide with single-step method boric acid mother liquid; technology of preparing magnesium-nitrogen compound fertilizer - ammonium magnesium sulfate with boric acid mother liquid; technology of preparing medical (food) grade magnesium carbonate, industrial light magnesium oxide, silicon steel grade magnesium oxide, electrician grade magnesium oxide, medical grade magnesium oxide, fluorescent material grade magnesium oxide and highly active magnesium oxide with salt lake brine or soluble magnesium salt; technology of preparing medical (food) grade magnesium carbonate, flame-retardant grade magnesium hydroxide and grade magnesium oxide of all grades with boric acid mother liquid or magnesium sulfate heptahydrate; technology of preparing food grade magnesium carbonate and precipitated silica dioxide by-product ammonia with boric sludge; magnesium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide process effluent disposing (ammonia recovery) technology and devices; industrialization production technology of preparing magnesium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide, magnesium oxide, sodium sulfate or sodium sulfide with bloedite; comprehensive utilization technology of preparing magnesium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide, magnesium oxide, co-production ferrous oxalate, tyre grade white carbon black and the matched process effluent with serpentine as raw material; production technology of preparing battery and electroplating grade sulfuric acid nickel from nickel-containing waste; high-purity ferric oxide production technology; sulfuric acid manganese production technology; ammonium molybdate and other molybdate production technology; sodium fluoride and other sodium fluoride production technology; fluoborate production technology; comprehensive utilization technology of red soil nickel ore; technology of preparing medical grade food magnesium carbonate, magnesium oxide and magnesium hydroxide with magnesite; production technology of preparing 80%-95% content light-burned magnesium oxide with magnesite; technology of preparing light magnesium carbonate, light magnesium oxide, light calcium carbonate, and environmental protection grade magnesium hydroxide with dolomite ore; technology of preparing flame-retardant grade magnesium hydroxide with brucite; technology of preparing magnesium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide and magnesium oxide with seawater as raw material.
            Organic Chemical Industry Laboratory: It has 8 professional researchers who are mainly engaged in research, development and promotion of plant extractive and biological extractive production technology, stearate production technology, pharmaceutical intermediates production technology, and organic boride production technology. It owns more than 20 research achievements and industrialization proprietary technology. The researchers have successively published more than 10 theses in domestic related magazines.

            New Energy Industrial Technology Laboratory: It has 6 professional researchers who are mainly engaged in research of new-type battery material preparation process, including the research of iron phosphate, ferrous oxalate, iron phosphate lithium preparation process, fuel-cell catalyst, and lithium ion battery is cathode material production process.
            Test Center: It has investment of over RMB 3 million, over 40 sets of test equipment and instruments, relatively complete modern detection means and strong scientific test capacity, bearing project test of tackling key scientific and technological problems, raw material and product detection, unknown chemical analysis, as well as training and teaching for chemical analysts.
             Pilot plant test base: The workshop covers an area of 25000m2, which has one pilot plant test production line with complete functions and complete pilot plant test detection system equipment, in charge of pilot plant test and verification of new process and new technology.

            Engineering Department: It has 10 professional staff, undertaking chemical industrial project design, construction supervision as well as commissioning and acceptance for production equipment.
