Introduction of technique
Crush the serpentine ore or forsterite ore or asbestos tailing to certain fineness, and then decompose them, transform the magnesium, iron, nickel and cobalt etc in the serpentine ore powder into soluble sulfate and into the liquid phase, after solid-liquid separation, get the main ingredients of magnesium sulfate, ferrous sulfate, nickel sulfate and cobalt sulfate mixed solution. Firstly put the mixed solution into the extracting iron process, extract the Iron deposits,.then use the iron deposits as raw materials, after the special technology processing, get the battery grade ferrous oxalate. After that then put the solution into the extracting nickel process , extract the nickel ore concentrate .Next put the solution into the extracting cobalt process and obtain the cobalt ore concentrate Through further purification of the extracted cobalt solution, get the pure magnesium sulfate solution. Under certain technological conditions, make the magnesium sulfate solution reaction with ammonia with ammonium bicarbonate, and produce the sediment of the magnesium hydrate or basic magnesium carbonate, then through dewatering, rinsing, modifying, spin-drying, drying, crushing and packing, produce the magnesium hydroxide or magnesium carbonate products. The magnesium hydroxide or alkali magnesium carbonate can be as precursor, to control the different process conditions, and through the heat treatment, produce different levels and different use of the magnesium oxide products. The main ingredient of the mother liquor produced by the preparation process of the magnesium salt is ammonium sulfate. This technology development has the comprehensive utilization technology and device of the of mother liquor, which can process the mother liquid to get the ammonia, and circulate to be used in the preparation of magnesium salt.
